Paines Creek: A Cottage Refresh

Wildflower Home was hired to reimagine two 100-year-old beach cottages in the quaint town of Brewster, MA. The cottages are a five-minute walk to the beach and located alongside the enchanting, ecological wonderland that is Paines Creek.

To achieve a classic beach house feeling, we pickled the original wood floors to match the ceiling and drenched the interior in warm white paint.

Many of the client’s family heirloom pieces were used to furnish these cottages, giving them a collected feel, and the decor was intentionally fun, colorful, and eclectic to evoke a sense of whimsy.
